We can’t forget about our wonderful grooms! Thankfully tux shops like Friar Tux Shop help our clients get a polished and timeless look for their walk down the aisle. We recently received word that Friar’s is welcoming Michael Kors suits into their stores and we’re loving what we’ve seen!
This month until May 11th, Friar Tux Shop is offering exclusive deals to those customers that register online. From a free groom’s tux rental to $40 off a groomsman rental – these deals are too huge to pass up! So get your fiance to register here and use the promo code: EM1433. A free rental for your groom could mean you get those Loubs you’ve been eyeing:)
Although the three finalists for the Brides Live Wedding aren’t planning their own wedding – we can only imagine the amount of stress knowing America is choosing every detail from your decor down to your wedding gown! So we’re sure after saying, “I Do” at the St. Regis Monarch Beach, the winning couple will want (no, NEED) a luxurious honeymoon! To help our winning couple relax and unwind, it’s up to you to decide which gorgeous destination they will enjoy:
British Virgin Islands

We’ll keep posting the details for voting as they come in. Stay tuned:)
This Friday we turn our ears to music. We’ve had the divine pleasure to work Enchanted Evening Music Productions for many years as they have provided ceremony and reception music for a handful of our wonderful clients. They are one of the most dynamic, and vibrant chamber music groups in Southern California. Andy, the production manager and Chris, the ensemble leader and musical director, are so sweet to work with and incredibly professional from load in to load out. Chris was kind enough to answer some of our questions and really delve in to the wedding music arena to give us an insight about what makes Enchanted Evening different from the rest!
Q: Why did you decide to go into the music industry?
A: As a child, I witnessed beauty on hte faces of those listening to music. Music stirs the deepest emotions of the soul. I knew then, that I wanted to continue studying and playing music for the rest of my life!
Q: What is unique about Enchanted Evening?
A: We customize a musical program for each wedding. I love meeting with the bride and groom to discover their musical personality! This extra step keeps each event fresh for us, with a mix of traditional and random. In the last few months we have had some eclectic mashups like, A Thousand Years mixed with Clair de Lune. A Thousand Years played as the family entered with hints of Clair de Lune intertwined until the wedding party entrance, then the ensemble segued into Clair de Lune.
Q: Who is your ideal client?
A: Couples who want to create an unique ambiance by including the magic of quality live music.
Q: What is the best part about working in the wedding industry?
A: We have the honor of being a part of one of the most important days of a couple’s life.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in Orange County during your free time?
A: Concerts, theater and dining! Luckily, Southern California is filled with amazing opportunity for all of these indulgences!
We really admire how Enchanted Evening Music Productions treats every performance with complete originality and attention to detail and that is why we are proud to have them as a featured vendor of ours! Thank you Chris and Andy for speaking with us. We look forward to working with you this summer. To find out more about their music and even listen to music samples, you can visit them here.
Another aspect to the Brides Live Wedding is the web series they are filming and showcasing on the Brides website. Something sweet to start your week off right…cake voting for the Brides Live Wedding is now live and you have TWO more days to cast your vote for your favorite design. Our favorite cake boss, Buddy Valastro of Carlo’s Bakery has teamed up with the Brides team to design a cake surely to WOW the guests at the winning couple’s reception! Often times a cake is a great focal point to your reception, and another area in which you can personalize your wedding to be about you and your groom! From Brides Magazine: “Buddy Valastro of TLC’s Cake Boss crafted four cake designs to serve as our reception centerpiece. Featuring bold details like honeycomb appliqués, graphic elements, romantic ruffles, and festive florals, each cake is sure to look as stunning as it is tasty.”
We only wish we could taste test these too:) Vote here now.
In the midst of all of the Brides Live Wedding craziness, we still wanted to take time to recognize one of our favorite vendors in the industry. Troy Grover and his fashionable (and super sweet!) wife, Aimee are the duo behind Troy Grover Photographers and through the years have been one of our absolute favorites to work with! We know that anytime we have the honor of having Troy and Aimee photograph our clients, that their expectations will be exceeded. With a love for capturing the moments of your big day, Troy and Aimee are the perfect vendor addition to any of our events! Plus, aren’t they totally cute?!
We sent along our Q&A to the both of them as they were traveling back from an out of state wedding – and we LOVED the responses that came back! Their personalities jump off the page and we’re excited for you to get to know them more!
Q: What do you love about working in the wedding industry?
A: Working alongside so many other talented creatives in the wedding industry. It keeps us inspired and motivated in our business!
Q: What makes Troy Grover Photographers unique?
A: We love to capture a wedding day in a really candid and organic way. Nothing overly posed or stiff. We also want our editing and style of photographs to stand the test of time. We love the coloring and authenticity of shooting film and it has definitely made us better photographers all around.
Q: What makes your husband and wife duo different to other photographers?
A: We love that we get to work together as a husband and wife team. We can always rely on each other’s shots and never have to hire unfamiliar second shooters. We also get to experience all of the highs of weddings together, so that makes it really fun!
Q: What’s one thing we’d be surprised to find out about the other?
A: (Aimee) Troy sleeps with an eyemask! (Troy) Aimee LOVES pizza:)
Q: Name three things you always carry with you
A: (Troy) Aimee always has chapstick, her sunglasses and our dog Kean (well most of the time:) (Aimee) Troy always has his iPhone, sunglasses and scribble notes in his pockets!
Q: Who is you ideal client?
A: Our ideal client is someone who appreciates the beauty in simplicity and someone who trusts our ability to capture them in a natural way. We love clients who give us the artistic freedom to WOW them!
Thank you guys SO much!! We can’t wait to work with you this summer! Keep an eye out on the blog, because soon we’ll be sharing an amazing engagement session Troy and Aimee did for one of our July couples! Until then, you can connect with Troy and Aimee on Facebook, Instagram, and their blog to see more of their gorgeous work!
